We are excited to announce that the Sexual Recovery Program (SRP) at CPCC will now be offering services for female sex and love addicts in the community. Our very own MFT Intern, Lisa Olson, will be using her expertise in addiction to support female sex and love addicts in their journey toward recovery.
“It is the CPCC SRP vision to offer support groups and therapeutic treatment for sex addicts, their spouses and families. It is my hope to provide great care and support for the female sex addict and her unique considerations, very different from the male addict, in recovery.
Women continue to be underrepresented in health and addiction studies. Many individuals, both professionals and non-professionals, assume sex addiction is for men only. I am eager to begin the work to help female addicts find healing and transformation.Lisa brings a solid clinical therapy background which includes more than 20 years of experience in the Addiction and Recovery field. She has worked in Outpatient Rehabilitation Programs helping addicts in treatment, and educating families on addiction and recovery. Lisa also has many years of experience in the school counseling realm, helping adolescents overcome obstacles that cause academic underachievement and interfere with learning, namely addiction issues.”
Lisa is supervised by Chris Coble, LMFT.
